The conference, open to everyone interested, will take place on Monday, 8 Februrary 2021, through the Youtube channel of the association, and is in the framework of 11F, the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.
The meeting, held as part of the European H2020 project LeTSGEPs, was organized by the ICM (Institut de Ciències del Mar) in coordination with the CSIC Equality Committee and the CSIC Women and Science Committee. The ICMAB was present in the event to explain our experience in Gender Equality, after receiving the Equality Distinction in 2018, and to share and learn good practices in Gender Equality.
The 33rd International Symposium on Superconductivity (ISS) 2020 conference, organized by AIST Tsukuba (Japan) was held between 1 and 3 December 2020. Several ICMAB researchers from the Superconducting and Large Scale Nanostructures (SUMAN) group participated in the conference with many contributions.
Concepció Rovira, ICMAB researcher at the Nanomol Group, gave on Thursday, 26 November 2020, a Conference entitled "Can we open a new era of electronics with the power of molecules" in the framework of the Science Thursdays at IEC (Institut d'Estudis Catalans). The talk is now available on the IEC Youtube Channel.
On Monday, 21 September 2020, the special workshop organized by the TU Darmstadt on "Women of Distinction in Materials Science" will take place online, via Zoom. Among the invited speakers, ICMAB researcher Clara Viñas will give the talk "Towards purely inorganic nanomaterials: new opportunities of boron clusters in biomaterials and medicine".
